Marias Care Center's Mission is to create an atmosphere of care for residents and family members where spiritual, emotional and medical needs are met.
Marias Care Center is located in Shelby, which is the crossroads of Interstate
15 and Highway 2 in North Central Montana. We are a 64 bed skilled nursing
facility, providing 24 hour nursing care.
Our staff is specially trained in being supportive and encouraging to our
residents to help them continue to lead meaningful lives. Each individual has a
plan of care, which assesses their abilities and allows them to function at
their highest possible level.
Marias Care Center is certified under the Medicare and Medicaid programs and is
licensed by the Montana State Department of Public Health. Residents are
admitted under one of the following pay or sources: private pay, Medicare,
Medicaid, or private insurance. The Social Services
Department will assist you in determining
appropriate payment sources and paperwork.
Services included in the daily rate are board and room, laundry of personal
clothing, cable hookup, Life Enrichment (activities) Program, Nursing Restorative Care, and
24 hour nursing care.
Marias Care Center is attached to the Marias Medical Center and Marias
Healthcare Clinic. This allows for easy access and transportation to the
Physicians, Rehabilitation team and emergency care.
We have two dining rooms, lounge areas, outdoor patio, and a private sitting area for family and friends to meet. In the summer months, the patio is used for many gatherings and barbecues.
We have private rooms with a shared bathroom and semi-private rooms to choose from. We always try to accommodate the needs and choices of individual residents when making room assignments. Marias Care Center understands the need for married couples to continue sharing their lives and we encourage this practice when medically possible.
